Information about the Fall 2025 Peer Tutoring Program - From Academic Success Center (ASC) Staff

A separate request form is required for each course. Please enter only one course per form.

The Academic Success Center (ASC) will accept your Peer Tutor Request Form starting Friday, August 22nd at 12:00 p.m. CST through Friday, November 7th at 12:00 p.m. CST. After this deadline, the Fall 2025 program will be closed to new participants.
The ASC coordinates the Peer Tutoring Program, which is a student-tutor match program that provides weekly learning assistance to students seeking help in a a specific undergraduate course. Before applying for a spot in the program, students are expected to talk with the professor and attend any available first-level academic support services, such as professor office hours, department help sessions, PAL sessions, and drop-in tutoring available at the Writing Center and Hesse Learning Resource Center.
Spots in the ASC Peer Tutoring Program may be limited based on the demand and availability of peer tutors. The more times that you put on the form, the greater the chances that you will be matched with a tutor.
If a tutor-match is found for you, then you will receive a Tutoring Assignment Notification by email from the Academic Success Center. The assignment will give you the name of your tutor. Your tutor will email you to set up a Meet & Greet session to go over the program guidelines and select a weekly appointment time/day.
Students in the program are expected to keep their appointment time and attend one 1-hour tutoring session per week during the semester. The session to which you are assigned is likely to be a small group session consisting of 2 - 3 of your classmates (for a total of 3 - 4 students served by one tutor). Please anticipate that you are likely going to work with a classmate(s) in your weekly session. If a tutor-match is not found, you will receive an email with next steps.
